What cookies are

Cookies are small values that a website can ask a browser to retain and send with later requests. Other browser features, including localStorage and sessionStorage, can also retain information. These mechanisms are different from temporary JavaScript variables that exist only within an open page.

Storage in the supplied site code

The supplied HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not set cookies or write to localStorage or sessionStorage. They do not include analytics, advertising technology, cross-site tracking or embedded third-party media. Navigation state and scroll-reveal state are held in page memory rather than a persistent visitor profile.

Files such as pages, styles and local images may be cached by your browser to improve loading. Caching is not the same as a tracking cookie. Your browser or hosting infrastructure may have separate technical behaviour; browser developer tools and site-data settings can help you inspect the storage present on your device.

Contact drafts, copying and downloads

The contact tool holds your draft in the current page. It does not save the draft in website storage or automatically send it anywhere. Your browser may independently restore form entries or use autofill according to your settings.

Copy message uses the Clipboard API only after you choose that action. Download text creates a file through a temporary browser object URL and then releases that URL. The downloaded file remains on your device until you remove it. Clipboard history, device synchronisation and backups are controlled by your device and software settings, not by this website.

Your controls

You can review or clear site data in your browser settings, disable JavaScript or limit clipboard access. Disabling JavaScript removes the message-preparation functions and animated reveals; the explanatory articles and ordinary links remain available. The navigation remains accessible without JavaScript.

Clearing site data does not necessarily delete downloaded files, clipboard history, emails you sent separately or records held by the recipient of those emails. Manage each through the relevant application or device settings.

External websites and future changes

Reference links take you to independent websites when selected. Those sites may use cookies under their own policies. We do not load them as embedded content in the supplied pages.

If optional storage or tracking is introduced, this notice must be updated and any legally required consent obtained before the relevant technology is used. See our privacy notice for personal-data information.
